I’m Karrah, the maker behind For Flux Sake
It started as a Facebook post (am I dating myself here?!?!). A good friend had acquired someone’s stained glass collection and was looking for a few friends to take a 6 week stained glass class with her. Always one for hyper fixations, I jumped right on that shit. As I scored that glass for the first time, something clicked. This was my jam. I fell in love with stained glass immediately.
Then the universe interjected in a way only it can. Another friend, her mother was a stained glass artist for decades, but could no longer create. My friend needed a home for the lifetime of art and supplies her mother had collected and it needed to be a special home. That’s where I came in. To this day, my stained glass art is created on her bench, her glass adorns the artwork I create and the tools help shape and mold the rough glass into details to make my art come alive. I feel her presence in my space every time I create and I’m so thankful for it.
Always a creator
Classically trained as a photographer, my life has revolved around creativity. Even my day jobs have been creative: Professional Photographer, Marketing and Design Specialist, Creative Lead.

Random Fact #1
I’m left handed, which means anytime I film myself cutting glass, grinding pieces or soldering, my hands are in the damn way.
Random Fact #2
I hate melons. All kinds of melons. They are bland and soft and gross. I will only tolerate watermelon if it’s perfect and sprinkled with Tajin.
Random Fact #3
In fifth grade, I was cast with two of my classmates to star in a film for the school district about shoplifting. We stole a basketball, which in hindsight makes us three out to look like some stupid ass kids.
